  • Are reservations required? Do you accept walk-ins?

    Although reservations are preferred, walk-ins are always welcome. Keep in mind that reservations will guarantee equipment availability, while walk-ins are treated as first-come, first-served.

  • Do reservations require a deposit? Is it refundable?

    Yes, all reservations require a refundable deposit of $25 per person.


    This deposit will be refunded in full if you provide us with 48 hours advance notice of your cancellation. Within 48 hours, all deposits are non-refundable.

  • Do I need an appointment to have my bike serviced?

    Bike service is always completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to give us a call ahead of time or just bring your bike by the shop. How quickly we get your bike work completed just depends on how busy our service department is.

  • Do you sell bike parts and accessories?

    Yes, we do! We have a comprehensive selection of bike parts, accessories, and apparel for sale. Whether you're an expert rider looking for a specific part or a just want to browse the shelves, we've got you covered here at Elevation. 

  • What is considered a “full day” rental?

    A full day rental is one that starts when the shop opens at 8:30am and ends when we close at 5:30pm.

  • What is considered “multi-day” rental?

    A multi-day rental is any rental that consists of 2 or more consecutive days. 

  • Are helmets included with bike rentals?

    Yes, all bike rentals come with a complimentary helmet rental.

  • Do you offer trail advice?

    Not sure where to ride? No problem! Our staff will be happy to point you in the right direction. With years of local riding under our belts, we won't steer you wrong!

  • Do you offer bike lessons?

    I'm sorry, but we do not offer bike lessons at this time. 

  • Can we ride our bikes to Frisco and drop them off there?

    Absolutely! For a small fee of $5 per rider, you can ride your bikes one-way to Frisco. Once you're done with your rentals just give us a call and we'll come pick them up. Please see our Summer Services page for more detailed information.

  • Can I pick up my bike rental the night before?

    Subject to availabilty, you can pick up your rental any time after 3pm for an overnight charge of $15 per mountain bike/ebike/tandem or $10 for all other types of bicycles & trailers. GIve us a call after 3pm and we'll let you know if the bike is available. 

  • Do you deliver/pick up bike rentals?

    Yes, we do! Although there is plenty of riding within a short distance from our shop, we will gladly deliver or pick up your rental anywhere in Breckenridge for a small fee of $5 per bike, per way.

  • Do you have customer parking?

    Yes, we have two short-term spots located directly behind our building. Feel free to use them while picking up and dropping off equipment. 

  • Do you offer a military discount?

    Yes, we do! We are very proud to offer a 15% discount on rental equipment to all active and retired military. Military ID required.

  • Do you offer refunds due to inclement weather?

    Unfortunately, no we don't. The weather in the mountains changes FAST. If you do experience inclement weather during your rental, our best advice would be to wait it out a while before returning your equipment.

  • Do you offer insurance on rental equipment?

    No, we do not offer insurance on rental equipment. Notwithstanding normal wear and tear, all customers are held responsible for lost or damaged equipment. 

  • What types of payment do you accept? Do you accept cash?

    All rental equipment must be paid with either a credit or debit card. Accessories and apparel can be purchased with cash or card.
